Shipping policy

 

At BARJANI, we take the transit of our fragrances with upmost importance. Because our perfumes contain high-grade perfumer's alcohol, they are classified as ORM-D (Other Regulated Materials-Domestic). This requires specific handling to ensure your scent arrives safely and in compliance with the law.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

We ship to all 10 Canadian provinces.

• Carrier Methods: We primarily utilize UPS Ground, Purolator or Canada Post.

• Ground-Only Requirement: Due to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, alcohol-based fragrances cannot be shipped via air (No Overnight or 2-Day Air).

• Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days. During high-volume collection launches, please allow up to 5 business days.

• Transit Times: Once dispatched, domestic ground shipping generally takes 3–5 business days depending on your distance from our fulfillment center.

SHIPPING RATES

• Flat Rate: We offer tiered flat-rate shipping based on your location and order value.

• Complimentary Shipping: BARJANI offers free standard ground shipping on all orders.

TRACKING & DELIVERY

• Tracking Numbers: You will receive an automated email with a tracking link as soon as your shipping label is generated. Please allow 24 hours for the carrier to scan the package and for movement to appear.

• Redirects: Once a package is in the carrier's possession, we cannot redirect it to a different address.

LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

• Damaged Items: If your bottle arrives broken or leaking, you must notify hello@barjani.com within 48 hours of the "Delivered" timestamp. Please retain all original packaging and provide clear photos of the damage for our insurance claim.

• Stolen Packages: BARJANI is not responsible for packages marked as "Delivered" by the carrier that are subsequently lost or stolen. We highly recommend shipping to a secure location.

• Incorrect Address: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer and not notified in a timely manner, a re-shipping fee will apply.
